Norweigian Chicks arrive at Edinburgh Airport

2010-07-01 20:57:43

An unusual event occured at Edinburgh Airport a couple of days ago. 19 white tailed eagle chicks were given a VIP welcome as they arrived as they arrived at Edinburgh Airport from Norway.

Attempts are being made to re-introduce the sea eagle to Scotland for the first time in nearly one hundred years. Although the politicians and the RSPB are delighted, land owners are not so pleased, as they are wary of coming danger to lambs and game birds.
